If God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear, it must be coming from satan.
I’m seeing more and more people being attacked by fear today. And, sadly, most of them do not know that fear is a spirit sent to devour them, to bring them hopelessness, to make them react with little self-control.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I have not been given a spirit of fear (fear is satan’s main weapon as he roams around seeking someone to devour, I Peter 5:8 ). As a Christian, I do not have to yield to the temptation to fear whenever my life doesn’t go the way I want or think it should be going. Instead, I can listen to God and yield to His power, His love and His thoughts about me and the situation. By doing so, I can yield to the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and realize that God IS working all things for my good. This allows me to have God’s peace as I place myself back under His loving care.
