I once heard another Christian say that what God wants anyone to do with their life will be simple and fit who they are. That comment’s really helped me over the years.
Early in our marriage, God made it really obvious that He wanted me to spend my life loving my wife. He wanted me to concentrate and focus on her. I find the greatest joy living with and loving my Annie.
Sometimes I think I should be doing more for God, but He always brings me back to simply loving my cute little wife. That makes me glad, it’s simple and really does fit with who God’s made me.
Don’t make your Christianity too complex or difficult. Keep it simple as you grow in Jesus.
