Happy Monday, Everyone –
It’s interesting to me that when we pray and God doesn’t answer the way we think He should, that we get mad at Him – satan loves this. I used to be like this a lot when “things didn’t go my way.” We get mad at God because we know He can change our situation but chooses not to. In reality, what’s happening is – because He can see the “whole picture” in our lives – He’s got something better in mind for us by not giving us the immediate answer we’re looking for. We need to learn to trust His judgment in every matter. This is entering His rest. And we can do so because of Romans 8:28. ☺
Now, I can look back on my life and thank God for not doing things the way I often prayed He would. He was right not to give me what I wanted. This makes it a lot easier for me to trust Him into the future.
And everlasting joy shall be upon their head… Amen!
God bless,
Mark
