The words of the blessing are meant to remind us of God’s care of our lives. He watches over the lives of His children and brings them to His place of rest. Seek Him with all your heart and let Him give you His peace, rest and joy.
The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace
And I put the Name of the God of the children of Israel on you and bless you in Jesus’ Name, the Name that is ABOVE every other name.
