This is what I’m learning, and God’s Presence is everything. His superseding Presence is true joy.
And the Heavenly patience God builds in us is the key to joy. Truly, there are Heavenly wonders we cannot experience and enjoy without letting Godly patience develop in us. And God – Who is maximum Love – wants to give us all of those beautiful Heavenly wonders.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience (God wants us to know that He’s at work (worketh) giving us wonderful Jesus and all that He is).
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting (lacking) nothing (patience adds so many Kingdom character traits to our lives).
James 1:2-4
I’m still learning to wait. It must be so important to learn to wait. So much of God comes into our lives as we continue to wait on Him. We calm down and take on Kingdom character that only comes through waiting as we walk with Jesus learning everything He knows will bless our lives.
You’re doing everything you can to follow Jesus and you still have trials that test your faith. If you follow the Lord, He will make sure to complete His good work in you. One of the best works you can have built into your life is to learn to count it all joy. Patience is a true gift. Learning to wait when things are testing your ability to wait builds precious Kingdom character in our lives. There is nothing like becoming like Jesus. Nothing. As you become like Him, your Heavenly joy increases and nothing I know of is as wonderful as that. Keep seeking Jesus. Keep your hand in His. There is a reason for everything. When you begin to realize that you’re well on your way to freedom in Christ. Freedom in Jesus is everything.
Remember, while circumstances may not change, the strengthening work God is doing in you makes life easier and joyful.
God loves you so much, my friend.
But Let Patience Have Her Perfect Work…
Thanking and praising God in all things,
Mark
