Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6
The steadfast love of the lord (Jesus; Yaweh) never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22–23
Some of the sweetest and dearest times I have in the Lord come right on the heels of being tempted by the devil to doubt God. We needn’t fear times of doubt. God is always faithful. When I’m in a kind of spiritual fog, I simply ask my Father for His help.
For so many decades, I was panicking and so scared because it seemed I was getting weaker in so many important areas of life as the years went on. It was all simply because I didn’t know or understand how strong Jesus is. I didn’t know He was working things out behind the scenes in our lives. I needed to learn the dearest part of life, that is, I needed to know Jesus could keep me/us. There is nothing as precious as learning that Jesus can control all aspects of our lives. Nothing is as sweet to our souls.
Keep seeking and following Jesus in all your ways. The reward for doing so is His inspiring faithfulness.
Thanking and praising God in all things (Ephesians 5:20),
Mark
Note: While we may not agree with everything a particular church or Christian group teaches or believes, there are times when we can be blessed by something outside the realm of our current understanding of God.
