I was thinking about how Jesus calmed the storm on the sea (Matthew 8:23-27). The disciples had been so afraid of losing their lives and thought Jesus didn’t care about the storm they found themselves in.
When you learn to transfer all “care” to Jesus, you trust Him like you never thought possible and Life becomes so different.
The devil will do anything he can to keep the peace of God from ruling in your heart.
There was a time when I was so angry, so oppressed, caught up in so many “storms” in my life. I could be offended so easily, and this was taking a toll on me and my family. I needed a change, a healing from how sick I was as a result of these sins.
“Cares” can turn into storms so quickly. Give Jesus all your “care.” Do not withhold a single care from Him. Jesus knows we need His peace. Jesus can change you. You merely need to cooperate with Him to let Him do it.
There is a place of quiet rest, Near to the heart of God
Christian hymn by Cleland Boyd McAfee
1 There is a place of quiet rest,
Near to the heart of God;
A place where sin cannot molest,
Near to the heart of God.
Refrain:
O Jesus, blest Redeemer,
Sent from the heart of God;
Hold us, who wait before Thee,
Near to the heart of God.
2 There is a place of comfort sweet,
Near to the heart of God;
A place where we our Saviour meet,
Near to the heart of God.
3 There is a place of full release,
Near to the heart of God;
A place where all is joy and peace,
Near to the heart of God.

Peace I (Jesus) leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth (this world’s peace is based on favorable circumstances), give I unto you (Jesus gives us a peace based on trusting in Him regardless of our situations, trusting Him in all things). Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
Colossians 3:15a
And he (Jesus) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:39
Thanking and praising God in all things (Ephesians 5:20),
